This course includes a lab assignment that involves observing rainfall data on Princeton's campus to study spatial and temporal variability of precipitation patterns. In doing so, students learn how to study weather patterns and how they can significantly effect society, and conversely, how they change due to human activity such as anthropogenic-induced climate change.
