An investigation of dams and reservoirs and their short- and long-term costs, benefits, and impacts. Dam safety, operating rules and reoperation in response to change, fish passage and habitat, reservoir sediment management, dam removal. Heavy reliance on case studies, technical literature, and discussion. Enrollment limited. Graduate status or permission of the instructor.
