How concepts of Nature develop through scientific practice and technological innovation. How science and technology, influenced human-nature relations through three pivotal movements in British history: the British naturalist tradition; the industrial and agricultural revolution; and the scientific turn of the late C19th and early C20th. Emphasis on how the legacy of scientific and technological practice during these historic periods continues to influence contemporary frameworks and practices
