Project description

Social Practice broadly refers to work produced through various forms of direct engagement with a site, social system or collaborator. Arte �til, which translates into English as useful art, will consider the practice of Arte �til as institutional self-criticism, active hyperrealism, a-legality,reforming capital,sustainability, and modes of creative collaboration.Enrollment in the class requires familiarization with the Arte �til archive (http://www.arte-util.org/projects/) and lexicon (http://www.arte-util.org/tools/lexicon/), as well as the submission of a written statement of 250-400 words explaining how you think aesthetics can disrupt institutional structures and what social issues interest you.
