Introduction to�population�studies. The primary focus is on the relationships between demographic processes (fertility, mortality, and immigration) and social and economic issues. Discussion covers special topics Inclusive to�population�growth and spatial distribution, including marriage and family formation,�population�aging, changing roles and statuses of women, labor force participation, immigrations, urban growth and urbanization, resource allocation, and the environment.�
